We were looking for a good place to have lunch in this area. Came here with my coworkers after a long day of traveling and visiting customers. I was impressed by their authentic Mexican theme look. Beautiful granite Bar and the one on one service the Servers provided. If I was around this area again, I would definitely stop by. Live music and very well ran business. I can tell the Owner appreciated our business.

I eat here pretty often as there isn't much to choose from in Fort Mohave. Great place and great food. Always busy but you still get a seat pretty fast. The only problem I've ever had was once I got overcharged on my credit card for the wrong table, but they fixed it before I left and apologized. The next time I came in the owner knew my name and asked if the charge reversed ok. I was pretty surprised he remembered my name and what I looked like. Fairly hard to do when you have tons of people come in and out all the time.

Extremely pleased with the authentic food, the staff all spoke Spanish, a must for me in a Mexican restaurant, and were friendly and helpful. Yes, the fajitas and ceviche tostadas are excellent. We will be back.

My absolute favorite Mexican restaurant anywhere! Fajitas and Ceviche are the best. It's hidden in the corner of a small strip mall, but look for it! The food is so worth it! And did I forget their Magaritas?

Came here with my dad tonight for the first time, seated right away and within 5 minutes had amazing Cadillac margaritas and chips and salsa on our table... Food was impeccable! Quick, tasty, and excellent service! It's our new favorite spot in town!

I was back here and found they have Negra Modelo beer on tap. Also the a la carte' menu included chicken tacos! I had already loaded up on the free chips and dip so I didn't really need the rice and beans that come with every entree. The table musicians came in at 4 P.M. and serenaded our table with Spanish-Mex music. The 2 of them appeared to be raking in some nice tips.It was all very good and the food is consistently delicious. I also stopped in one night on my way home and got the SHrimp Civeche' to go so I would have lunch in the fridge for a couple of days. They are closed Mondays.

Great food and service. I highly recommend this place. The ceviche and shrimp cocktail is my favorite. The chips and salsa are the best. I love the bean dip and all the choices. The service here is fast and friendly. The owners are very attentive and friendly. I will definitely come here every time I'm in the Mohave/Bullhead/Laughlin area.

Winner, winner, lard-less refried beans dinner! Hubby and I have been looking for a new Mexican Restaurant in the area since our other one that we liked closed recently, so it was a pleasant surprise to find Correa's. We got there about 8p on a Saturday night and we were seated immediately without a wait (this is key when you have a two and four year old)! We were then served with the fresh chips and salsa AND a small bowl of refried beans. You don't know how excited I got over these beans! It was one of the things that I loved about said restaurant above. And, my two year old even liked the beans with his chips. The mild salsa is perfect for chip dipping. Be warned that the "hot" salsa is very hot. Like, tingle your lips hot. We opted to share the potato tacos appetizer and a bean and cheese burrito with a side of guacamole and rice. And, I had a margarita. Splitting all of this was a perfect size meal for me and everything was delicious! The tacos had a bed of romaine, tomato and cheese mix on top but we're still crunchy down to the last bite. And for such a simple burrito, it was on point. The tortilla was very soft and not very thick, and it was loaded with beans and melted cheese inside and on top. Kids started getting a little crazy half way through so we had to eat fast but every bite right down to the last one was mmmm, mmmm, good! Prices are very inexpensive too. All of that was only $26! I was shocked when the bill came. (Btw-They don't take AMEX). The servers were very friendly, attentive and fast but didn't make us feel rushed at all (we were their last table before closing). Great food, service and value for your money. I see many future visits to this little roadside gem in AZ.

After a most disappointing experience a couple miles away my family and I went to Correa's to satisfy my prego cravings for shrimp cocktail. All i can say is night and day difference. Prompt, friendly service and amazing food. The server was on it. Our drink order was taken as soon as we sat down. The drinks including alcohol were out in less than 2 minutes, followed shortly by our food. He checked back regularly and the food was so tasty from their fresh salsa to fresh made shrimp cocktails and your choice of 3 different hot sauces. They were extreemly busy and we still didn't have to on wait for anything. They refreshed our chips and salsa before we could even think to ask. I would highly recommend them to anyone. They will surely make a regular out of me.

Giving this place 3 stars for the overall experience, to me, the place is just ok, nothing stood out but possibly the service. They are trying alright, but I had the Chile Verde and it wasn't spicy at all, it was a large portion with rice and beans, but again, not the chili verde I have been use to. A friend had the shrimp fajitas and she said they were good, I did not try them, so I'm sure they were, she is a foodie. Tried the sample appetizer platter and it was just decent, if I was extremely hungry and a bit tipsy it would probably taste awesome, but I wasn't and nothing memorable, they do serve a whole lot, but lacked flavor, I don't see the point. Try it out for yourself and you be the judge, I will opt out next time I am in the area.

Terrible Service. Guy told me sit where ever I want. I would have liked to take the booth but I feel a little selfish when I'm alone and take up a big comfortable space. So, I grab A table. Guy tells me to move we've got a big party coming in. Whatever, I move. Order the special waiting, waiting, waiting. FYI Restaurant people. When you displace someone, you should give a little more attention to detail to make up for it. So I split. Waited way too long 45 mins Way too long for a street taco special Steer clear of this place. Lost an hour total of my life I'll never get back.Lame!

People that rate this plce with 5 stars are either high or don't know anything about good food. Nasty nasty nasty.

Came highly recommended by a family member who visits regularly. It was delicious! I tried a fish taco, which didn't disappoint, and got the shrimp fajitas, which were delectable! Good Cadillac Margaritas also! Service was fast and very friendly, and even a little live entertainment. Will definitely visit again!

Nice place, great service! Loved the food authentic! Small bar area, very friendly atmosphere. We usually go to a place down the road, but heard from a local about this place. Recommending to our friends/family when they visit Bullhead/Laughlin. And we will definitely be coming back when we are in town!

Last month we tried El Charro in BH City and gave it three stars; by comparison this restaurant should rate six stars. First came the chips, salsa and bean dip, although the chips were store bought, the dip and salsa are excellent. Main dishes were top tier and the service extra prompt and attentive. We've tried other Mexican places in the area, but we'll settle on this one now.

The food is always wonderfully flavorful! Reminds me of a small-town cantina. The kind of place you always take friends and family. Be sure to try their seafood it is incredibly fresh and delicious! Good service and the owners are top-notch!

This place is super awesome. I love all the servers and the owners. They are so nice. My mom lives here in FT. Mohave and I live in CA. Every time I come to visit her this is the first place I come to. Their Chili Verde is super delish. The guacamole amazing. The Cadillac Margs are fantastic. If you haven't tried this place, you should. So yummy.

Finally visited this restaurant after driving by a zillion times. What a little gem. Had no idea it would look like this from the outside. Very cute with a small bar (which is a plus for me). The day we went it was packed with the senior crowd (oops ... I forgot, I'm a senior too). I had the tostadas de ceviche and THE boyfriend had carne asada tacos. THE boyfriend said the tacos were fine. My ceviche had that great lime flavor which I love but was a little overwhelming with the diced cucumber. I couldn't discern any diced fish in the ceviche, but I could see chopped shrimp. I definitely want to try out some other menu items in the future.

My brother and I were in town looking to eat some Mexican food. Decided to try this place out, and I'm glad we did! It has a nice atmosphere, the staff are very attentive and extremely polite - and the food is delicious! Like most Mexican food restaurants, when you sit down, they serve you chips, salsa and bean dip. The salsa was fantastic! A little on the mild side (I'm a fan of spicy salsa) but had a fantastic garlic flavor to it. The bean dip was good, too, and the chips were served nice and hot. My brother got the chili verde, and it was juicy and flavorful. I got the carne asada burrito, and I have to say, I haven't had carne asada that good in a long time! The beef tasted like it had been seasoned really well, and had a delicious, just-off-the grill taste. We'll definitely be coming there again!

Correas is having issues with Yelp posting local name and address when you check-in. They are a phenomenal Mexican restaurant with ice cold beer and the best michos margaritas. Food and service are great!!!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
